First I have to say that customer service was wonderful. Answered questions regarding the bag before I purchased it. Second, I got this bag for my husband to replace a bag that he refused to get rid of...it was comfortable and the perfect bag to him. Well, it was 40 years old and needed to go. He is very happy with this new bag. He said it looks good and is made exactly like he would want a replacement bag to be. Old bag gone - new bag here to stay. We will be taking it on a trip soon and I think this one will last 40 years easily. Great carry all bag!

I wanted a full-grain leather weekend bag and researched various makes and models before deciding on this on. Then I went looking for the best price and found it on LuggageBase. The bag arrived promptly, but I discovered a manufacturing defect with the lining in the second main compartment. I contacted LuggageBase and they made it very easy to return the bag and get a replacement, no extra charge. The new bag is defect-free and beautiful. The leather and stitching are top notch. There's no internal support in this kind of bag though, as you would find in wheeled luggage. To fit the bag into the shipping box, they had to fold the bottom up, which leaves a mild crease along the back of the bag (the long side without the pockets), but this does NOT damage the leather. To ease the crease, I packed the bag with old clothes in each compartment and let it sit. I haven't traveled with it yet but will in a few months. I can't wait!
I bought this bag for my husband. He loves it! It is a classic, timeless piece of luggage that looks like it will last for a long time. It has a lot of good pockets for storage of smaller items and looks plenty big for a weekend trip. We are very happy with this purchase. Luggagebase sent the bag quickly and it arrived in very good condition. It was an expensive bag, marked down to a reasonable price, and luggagebase had it for the lowest price I could find.
I love the zippered exterior compartments that the bag has to offer. They are nice to organize your flight papers and small electronics. This bag is perfect for carry-on and 2-4 day trips. The leather is of top quality and although I've only travelled with it once, it seems very sturdy. I can see it will easily fit in airline overhead storage compartments and underseat stores as well. I personally carry the bag on my shoulder most of the time, and the one slight draw back is the leather strap that is included with the bag. It seems a bit thin and with 12-15 ponds of wieght seems to cut into my shoulder a bit. Other than that it is a fine piece of luggage. Was this review helpful to you?
I needed a bag for music supplies etc. for my gigs---this is serving the purpose in style. The leather looks rich, smells great, and so far works well with the pockets it has, the top notch zippers and compartments, and even the shoulder strap. I have had a Piel fanny pack for several years and it is so rugged. I wouldn't hesitate to get any of their products. I love this bag.
I love this bag. I guess it is a little different than how I imagined it, but not worse or lacking anything that I did picture. It fits A LOT of stuff. For all the ladies, I thought this would be helpful knowledge, I'm a female who over packs because I like to have options when I get there and I took it with me on a 4-day 3-night trip and was was able to fit the following: shampoo, conditioner and other toiletries (bottles were small but not travel size, as in would not fit in a quart size bag); small make-up bag; a few tank tops; socks, undergarments, and PJs; two pairs of jeans, a pair of shorts, and a skirt; light cardigan; small bomber leather jacket; pair of short cowboy boots and a pair of high wedge heels; four shirts/tops; sweater; jewelry and other accessories; a laptop and large notepad; two clutch purses. I could have been stranded an extra few days and been fine. Plus I got compliments on the bag, and I know it's only going to get better with use. I HIGHLY recommend this piece of luggage!
Nice bag. My seasoned fellow travelers all commented on the high quality of the leather. Holds more than you would think. I really liked the different sized exterior pockets. Makes it easy to remember where I put my headphones, sunglassess, emergency granola bar, etc. Hidden interior pocket perfect for a travel wallet/passport holder.
I expected the bag to look a little more like luggage rather then a brief-case, but it's gorgeous. The leather is good quality and the color is beautiful. The back compartment is perfect for suit shirts. My boyfriend, who travels a lot, will love it. And I will love to borrow it!

This bag is very versatile. I use it as my main carry-on. It can fit overhead (even stuffed) and usually under the seat in front of you too-if necessary. You would be amazed at how much it can actually accommodate. Plus, I think it goes w/o saying, but the leather quality is top-notch and attractive looking as well. I ended up buying the same bag for my brother for Xmas.
